“A 400-acre amusement park in Doswell, Virginia, opened in 1975 about twenty miles north of Richmond off Interstate 95. A one-third-scale Eiffel Tower replica rises 315 feet over the midway, visible from the highway. The roller-coaster line-up has anchored the park for decades: Intimidator 305, Twisted Timbers, Anaconda, Racer 75. Soak City water park sits inside the perimeter under the same admission.
Each tile is finished by hand in our Knoxville studio. Artwork is slowly infused into the ceramic surface under high heat and pressure, and rests beneath a thin glossy finish. The colour lives in the surface, not on top of it.

Kings Dominion occupies about 400 acres in Doswell, Hanover County, roughly 33 kilometres north of Richmond off Interstate 95. The park opened in May 1975, built by Family Leisure and later operated by Paramount, Cedar Fair, and after the 2024 Cedar Fair-Six Flags merger, the combined Six Flags Entertainment Corporation. A one-third-scale Eiffel Tower replica stands 96 metres tall at the centre of the midway. Soak City water park sits inside the perimeter under the same admission.
The season runs from late March through the WinterFest closing weekend in early January, with day-by-day operating hours that vary by month. Halloween Haunt fills weekend evenings from late September through October. The Intimidator 305 hyper-coaster crests at 305 feet, Twisted Timbers is a steel-on-wood hybrid by Rocky Mountain Construction, and Anaconda, Apple Zapple, and Racer 75 fill out the older line-up. Single-day tickets and Gold and Prestige season passes are sold through the park's website.
The calendar moves in three large blocks. The summer season runs Memorial Day through Labor Day with daily operation, and Soak City reopens with it. Halloween Haunt runs Friday and Saturday evenings through late September and October, with mazes and scare zones spread across the park. WinterFest opens the day after Thanksgiving and runs through early January, with light installations, an ice-skating rink at International Street, and the Eiffel Tower lit for the season.
