“A dueling launched coaster at the centre of Celestial Park at Universal Epic Universe, the third gated theme park Universal opened in Orlando in May 2025. Two trains, named Pegasus and Lyra, race over five thousand feet of intertwined track, cresting at 133 feet and topping 62 miles per hour. The two layouts cross and re-cross several times before the brakes catch.

Stardust Racers is the headline coaster of Celestial Park, the central land of Universal Epic Universe, which opened on May 22, 2025 as Universal Orlando Resort's third gated theme park (Universal Orlando). The ride is a dual-launch racing coaster built by Mack Rides of Waldkirch, Germany. Each of the two tracks runs roughly 5,000 feet, lifts to 133 feet, and tops out near 62 mph. The trains are themed as Pegasus and Lyra after the constellations that organise the visual program of Celestial Park (Mack Rides).
Stardust Racers anchors Celestial Park, the entrance land for Universal Epic Universe and the gateway to the park's other four worlds. Single-day admission was tiered with the rest of Universal Orlando Resort at launch (Universal Orlando Tickets). Standby waits for Stardust Racers have run consistently above 90 minutes through peak afternoons since opening; Express Pass and the single-rider line both reduce the wait. The posted minimum rider height is 51 inches, and lap-bar restraints are used.
The launch hits 62 mph in a few seconds out of the station, fast enough that the wind alone clears glasses and loose caps from the row in front. The two trains share airtime moments and near-miss crossings across the 5,000-foot duel, with several head-chopper passes where the opposite track runs overhead within feet. The full ride lasts roughly a minute and a half from launch to brake run. Mack's polyurethane wheels keep the trains quiet for their speed (Mack Rides).
