“The ride opened in June 2019 in the Hogsmeade end of Universal's Islands of Adventure, on the site of the old Dragon Challenge coaster. Guests choose the sidecar or the motorbike, then take Hagrid's enchanted bike through the Forbidden Forest past Cornish Pixies, a Blast-Ended Skrewt, and a free-fall drop in the dark. Each tile is finished by hand in our Knoxville studio. Artwork is slowly infused into the ceramic surface under high heat and pressure, and rests beneath a thin glossy finish. The colour lives in the surface, not on top of it.

Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure opened June 13, 2019 at Universal's Islands of Adventure in Orlando, inside the Hogsmeade section of the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. The attraction occupies the former site of Dragon Challenge, which closed in September 2017. The coaster runs nearly a kilometre of track through a heavily themed Forbidden Forest section, drawing on the world J.K. Rowling created in the novels and Warner Bros. expanded across eight films released between 2001 and 2011.
