— — the green track that launches over the lagoon.
“A 150-foot green steel coaster at Universal's Islands of Adventure in Orlando. The signature element is the launch — a tire-drive system that throws the train from a standstill to about forty miles an hour in two seconds, straight up and over the lagoon. The track has seven inversions and the trains carry thirty-two riders at a time.
Each tile is finished by hand in our Knoxville studio. Artwork is slowly infused into the ceramic surface under high heat and pressure, and rests beneath a thin glossy finish. The colour lives in the surface, not on top of it.

The Incredible Hulk Coaster sits inside Marvel Super Hero Island at Universal's Islands of Adventure, the second of two theme parks at Universal Orlando Resort, on the western edge of Orlando in Orange County, Florida. The ride is a steel sit-down coaster manufactured by the Swiss firm Bolliger & Mabillard, with a top height of about 150 feet, a top speed near 67 miles per hour, and seven inversions across roughly 3,700 feet of track. The signature element is a tire-drive launch that accelerates the train uphill from a standing start.
The coaster opened with the rest of Islands of Adventure on 28 May 1999 and ran in its original form until September 2015, when Universal closed it for a full rebuild. It reopened on 4 August 2016 with new track, new trains, and a longer launch tunnel. The original green steel livery and the look of the lift hill carried through the rebuild. The ride has run continuously since, with seasonal closures only for scheduled maintenance.
The ride is operated by Universal Orlando Resort and access requires an Islands of Adventure or Park-to-Park ticket. The minimum height to ride is 54 inches. Loose articles are not permitted on the train, and free lockers are provided at the queue entrance for the duration of the ride. Wait times typically run longest in the late morning and through afternoon school holidays. Universal Express Pass and a Single Rider line are both available, and the park publishes daily operating hours on its mobile app.
