— — the boulevard that keeps the matinee.
“A back-lot dream of old Hollywood pinned to a Florida lake. The Chinese Theatre at the end of the boulevard, the Tower of Terror cutting the skyline, and a queue snaking toward Batuu after dark. Families come for the rides and stay for the way the lights pretend it's still 1939.
Each tile is finished by hand in our Knoxville studio. Artwork is slowly infused into the ceramic surface under high heat and pressure, and rests beneath a thin glossy finish. The colour lives in the surface, not on top of it.

Disney's Hollywood Studios sits inside the Walt Disney World Resort in Bay Lake, Florida, about twenty miles southwest of downtown Orlando. The park opened on May 1, 1989, as Disney-MGM Studios and took its current name in January 2008. Across roughly 135 acres it gathers six themed lands, anchored by Hollywood Boulevard and the Chinese Theatre replica that houses Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway. Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, the fourteen-acre expansion built around the planet Batuu, opened on August 29, 2019, and remains the park's largest single addition.
Headliner rides like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Mickey & Minnie's Runaway Railway run on the Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass systems, so the gate-rush is less about sprinting than booking on the My Disney Experience app at 7 a.m. Standard one-day tickets are date-priced. The Hollywood Tower Hotel, home to The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, rises 199 feet above Sunset Boulevard and remains the park's tallest structure. Fantasmic returns most evenings at the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater.
After dusk the boulevard does the work the daylight cannot. The neon along Hollywood Boulevard warms first, then the Carthay Circle marquee, then the perimeter of the Chinese Theatre. By full dark Galaxy's Edge reads as another planet entirely, the spires of Black Spire Outpost lit from beneath in cool blues and rust. The closing show, Wonderful World of Animation, throws projection mapping across the Chinese Theatre facade. Photographers favor the half hour between sunset and full dark from the bridge over Echo Lake.
