The Lobb Partnership designed it, the same office that drew Huddersfield's McAlpine and Cardiff's Millennium. Capacity sits near 28,700, all-seater, with the four cantilever roofs meeting at the corners. It opened as the Reebok Stadium, took the Macron name in 2014, then the University of Bolton's, and since 2023 has been the Toughsheet Community Stadium under a deal with the local roofing-membrane maker. from the studio
