— the woods turned over to Christmas for six weeks.
“A pocket of the New Forest given over each winter to Father Christmas. Pine paths strung with lantern light, a husky line, an elves' workshop, the long walk to the log cabin where children meet the man himself. The site opens in mid-November and closes a few days before Christmas. The rest of the year, the woods belong to the deer and the ponies. — from the studio
Each tile is finished by hand in our Knoxville studio. Artwork is slowly infused into the ceramic surface under high heat and pressure, and rests beneath a thin glossy finish. The colour lives in the surface, not on top of it.

Lapland New Forest is a seasonal Christmas attraction set within the Matchams estate near Bransgore in Hampshire, on the eastern edge of the New Forest National Park. The site sits roughly five miles north of Christchurch and ten miles east of Bournemouth, reached by the A338. The New Forest itself was designated a royal hunting ground by William the Conqueror in 1079 and became a national park in 2005, covering about 219 square miles of open heath, oak woodland, and Scots pine.
The attraction runs only from mid-November to a few days before Christmas, typically six to seven weeks each year. Tickets are dated and timed; the day's route follows the elf trail, the husky camp, the toy factory, and a final meeting in Father Christmas's log cabin. Snow is artificial. Daytime temperatures in a Hampshire December usually sit between 2 and 9 degrees Celsius, so the organisers recommend layers and waterproof boots regardless of the forecast.
Entry is by pre-booked timed ticket through the Lapland New Forest website; walk-ups are not accepted. Standard adult tickets ran around £36 and child tickets around £42 in the 2025 season, with children under one year free. Parking on site is included. The full experience takes roughly three to four hours and is designed to be walked at the visitor's pace; pushchairs and wheelchairs are accommodated along the main paths.
