— — a flat island built around a Sunday-night Grand Prix.
“A twenty-five square kilometre island off Abu Dhabi's main coast, reshaped over the last two decades into one of the Gulf's leisure capitals. Yas Marina Circuit carries the closing round of the Formula One season under floodlights every November or December. Ferrari World's red shell, Warner Bros. World, and the Yas Waterworld lagoons sit a short walk apart, with the Yas Marina hotel arched across the front straight.
Each tile is finished by hand in our Knoxville studio. Artwork is slowly infused into the ceramic surface under high heat and pressure, and rests beneath a thin glossy finish. The colour lives in the surface, not on top of it.

Yas Island lies about ten kilometres east of the main island of Abu Dhabi, across a short causeway off the E10 road that runs north toward Dubai. It covers roughly 25 square kilometres of largely reshaped land and shallow lagoon, developed since 2006 by Aldar Properties as a mixed leisure, residential, and event destination. Abu Dhabi International Airport sits across the channel on the mainland, fifteen minutes by road, making the island the most accessible major attraction cluster in the emirate.
The island's anchor date is the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, run on the 5.281-kilometre Yas Marina Circuit and traditionally the closing round of the Formula One World Championship in late November or early December. The circuit was designed by Hermann Tilke, opened in 2009, and remains one of the few F1 races run as a twilight event, starting in daylight and finishing under permanent floodlight. Concerts in the Etihad Park bookend the race weekend.
Four of the island's anchor attractions sit within a short walk of each other: Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, under the largest single roof structure in the world at 200,000 square metres; Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi; Yas Waterworld; and the SeaWorld Abu Dhabi aquarium complex, opened in 2023. Yas Mall and the Yas Marina with its hotel arched across the front straight complete the cluster. The W Abu Dhabi Yas Island hotel and the public Yas Beach round out the stay options.
